§ 2-276. Membership and appointment.

The authority hereby created shall be governed by a board composed of seven members who shall be appointed as follows:
(1)

Each member of county council shall have one appointment to the board, subject to the approval of a majority of county council.

(2)

There shall be no requirement that an appointee be a resident of the council district of the Council member making the appointment.

(3)

The requirement of advertisement as set forth in Dorchester County Ordinance 97-18, which amended Dorchester County Ordinance 97-05, shall not apply to the membership of this board.
