§ 8-102. Transactions with minors prohibited.

(a)

No purchase of secondhand jewelry, gold or silverware shall be made from any minor.

(b)

No purchase of any other secondhand goods shall be made from any minor without the written permission of the parent of guardian of any such minor, which written permission shall be held and produced whenever required by anyone authorized by the sheriff and the burden of proof shall be upon the purchaser of any such article to show that such written permission was the bona fide act of the parent or guardian.
