§ 42-8. Careless driving.

  • Any person who drives a motor vehicle in such a manner as to indicate disregard for the safety of any person or property is guilty of the offense of careless driving. Upon conviction, any violation of this chapter shall carry a fine not to exceed the sum of $500.00 and/or imprisonment for not more than 30 days, or both.
