  • (a)

    Standards for stormwater management and sediment reduction. These proposed regulations pursuant to the stormwater management and sediment reduction act of 1991 establish the procedure and minimum standards for a statewide uniform program for stormwater management and sediment reduction with the option of being operated locally. The regulations establish the procedure for local governments or conservation districts to apply for program component delegation. They also establish the criteria to be met for delegation. Minimum standards and specifications are established for land disturbing activities that require a permit.

    (b)

    The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program. The NPDES program requires permits for the discharge of pollutants from any point source into waters of the state and into waters of the United States.
