§ 2-223. Created.

There is hereby created the county commission on alcohol and drug abuse, to be composed of seven residents of the county who shall be appointed by the majority of the county council with one from each of the seven council districts. The terms of the members shall be for four years or until their successors are appointed and qualify. The terms of the members shall coincide with that of the county council district representative. Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment for the unexpired portion of the term only. The members of the commission shall serve without compensation and any member may be removed for cause.
