§ 26-1. Manufactured housing permit.

  • (a)

    Required. The building official shall establish a consolidated permit for the installation of single-family manufactured housing units in the county.

    (b)

    Unit installation and HUD/construction compliance. The manufactured housing permit established in section 26-1 shall satisfy the required permits relating to the temporary or permanent power installation of manufactured housing units. This permit will ensure compliance with standards by HUD and the construction requirements required by building codes.

    (c)

    Permit; fee schedule. Manufactured housing permit fees shall be as established from time to time by ordinance.

    (d)

    Violations and penalties. Any person, who shall violate a provision of this section, or fail to comply herewith, or with any of the requirements hereof, or who shall install or repair any mechanical equipment within or on any building, structure, or premises without securing a permit therefor from the building official or his assistants authorized to issue such permits shall be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions of this section is committed or continued.
