§ 18-4. Lands to which this chapter applies.

This chapter shall apply to all areas of special flood hazard within the jurisdiction of Dorchester County as identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in its Flood Insurance Study, dated July 18, 2017 with accompanying maps and other supporting data that are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter.

Upon annexation any special flood hazard areas identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in its Flood Insurance Study for the unincorporated areas of Dorchester County, with accompanying map and other data are adopted by reference and declared part of this chapter.
